成績計算 (Grading policy)

         1. Each examination will count for 25% into your final course grade, 75% in total.

         2. The oral presentations will count for 15%. They will be graded on a group basis, which means that members of the same group will receive the same grades for their presentation.

(a)   Students are required to organize their own groups at the beginning of the semester. Each group should have approximately three students.

(b)  In each oral-presentation class, there will be two groups giving presentations. Thirty minutes will be allotted to each presentation and 15 minutes will be left for Q & A. It is important that each member of a group should be actively involved in the presentation, and each will take turn to give a 10 to 15 minute presentation in the class.

(c)   Materials for preparing the presentation will be provided by the instructors in advance.

3. Roll-call (上課點名) for each class meeting will count for 10% into your final grade and anyone who misses 5 or more classes will lose the 10 points!
