Accommodations
Speakers and chairpersons will be hosted at our campus guesthouse. Other participants will need to pay for their own accommodations.
We have reserved a limited number of rooms on campus for student and faculty participants. Please contact us at Lngproc@ccu.edu.tw as soon as possible if you would like us to reserve a bed for you. If you are traveling alone and would like us to match you with a roommate, please tell us if you are male or female!

Transportation

By car: Take Chung-Shang Highway, get off at Da-Lin Exit, then take Highway 1 to Min-hsiung. There are signs for National Chung Cheng University on the way. [Parking lot map] Bring a printout of the registration page with you, to show to the guards at the university entrance.
By train:
Get off at Chaiyi or Minhsiung train station, then take a taxi to the Chung Cheng campus. Taxi fare is around NT$300 and NT$150, respectively.
You can also take a bus from the Chiayi train station directly to the Chung Cheng campus. The bus stop is on the right side as you exit the front of the station. You must buy a ticket before getting on the bus. It's about a 40 minutes' drive and the bus fare is NT$38.
Taiwan High Speed Rail began service in January 2007.
Get off at the Chiayi county station, then take a shuttle bus to Chiayi train station or a taxi directly to the Chung Cheng campus. Taxi fare should be around NT$300.
The main international airport is Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (formerly CKS), about a three-hour train ride north of Chiayi (one hour by High Speed Rail).
Visitors flying from or via Hong Kong or Southeast Asia may find it more convenient to enter Taiwan through Kaohsiung International Airport, about a 90 minute train ride south of Chiayi (30 minutes by High Speed Rail).
